Conference venue

UPoN4 2005 will be held on June 6^th – 10^th 2005 in Gallipoli at the Conference Centre of Grand Hotel Costa Brada www.grandhotelcostabrada.it

Gallipoli is about 40 Km from Lecce (train station), and about 90 Km from Brindisi (airport).

We recommend all participants to indicate their arrival and departure time (possibly when filling the Accomodation form). We will organize direct transfer from Brindisi airport and from Lecce Train Station to the Conference Centre by shuttle bus. Fee for Accompanying persons 30,00 euro Brindisi/Gallipoli/Brindisi and 15,00 euro Lecce/Gallipoli/Lecce. Shuttle trip takes about one hour from/to Brindisi Airport and about 40 minutes from/to Lecce Train Station.

By plane: The closest airport is Brindisi (BDS - Papola Casale) www.seap-puglia.it tel. 0039 0831-4117209. Brindisi airport is served by Ryanair www.ryanair.com (from/to London), Alitalia www.alitalia.it and Air One www.flyairone.it (from/to Rome Fiumicino - FCO, Milan Malpensa – MXP and Milan Linate – LIN). Participants arriving at Brindisi Airport can reach Lecce by themselves using the SITA public shuttle bus (cost about 5 euro) connecting the Airport to Lecce in connection to each flight arriving in Brindisi or departing from Brindisi or by taxi (cost 50-70 euro). Then, from Lecce to Gallipoli a local connection through bus or train (www.trenitalia.it) can be used. In Gallipoli train station is possible to take another taxi to Costa Brada Hotel (the distance is about 4 km).

By train (www.trenitalia.it): The closest train station is Lecce which can be reached directly from all major Italian cities (Rome, Milan, Turin, Bologna, Naples). From Lecce Railway, Gallipoli can be reached by train or by bus through a local connection (www.trenitalia.it)

By car: from Lecce follows the arrow to Gallipoli (about 40 Km). There is a main double road connecting Lecce to Gallipoli. To reach Costa Brada hotel, do not enter in Gallipoli but proceed further South for about 4 km and exit to “Li foggi/Alezio 5”. You will see Costa Brada hotel in front of you.
